Description:  #48 makes an unexpected stop at Amsterdam due to a passenger forgetting a suitcase at Utica. 100 is wearing the original Phase V. Note the red stripe has black below it. Phase Vb became the standard with the black skirt eliminated and the red stripe lowered.

Description:  #280 idles at Amsterdam. 712 was repainted in 2003 to Phase Vb when it was overhauled. Then it was repainted into a NY Empire service version of Phase III paint in 2018 when it was overhauled then. 712 originally kept its nose numberboard until it was replaced with a nose hatch.

Description:  The Sperry Truck makes an inspection of the Chicago Line at Amsterdam station. This scene has changed significantly with the removal of the telegraph lines in late 2007 and the signal bridge being removed in 2011 and replacd by Safetran ground masts. The detector now says CSX MP 177.4 instead of Conrail, Guy Park, NY.
